Beyond the Great Henge

This is an older piece, and most of the technical details have been lost to time—but what remains is the atmosphere. The track centers around a piano part, recorded on an iPad Pro using the Colossus Piano and an Arturia MK1, which I later transformed through layers of delay, glitch, reverb, and stretching. Small fragments of that piano were looped and smeared into the background to create a sort of impressionistic haze, leaving only echoes of the original performance behind.
The track ends with a recording of acoustic guitar, captured on an old Sony Walkman cassette recorder and played back at a slower speed. The tape compression, warble, and soft distortion give it a distant, ghostlike quality—like a memory fading as you try to hold onto it.
This piece feels like a kind of dream archaeology: part ritual, part artifact, something unearthed from a forgotten landscape of thought and tone.
